Note: I know the first thing I'll be asked is "Can you ping PC2 from any other computer?" Unfortunately the answer is I don't know. What, in the heck, am I missing?! I'm pulling my hair out here. PC1 can still see all other computers BUT PC2, and when I run angry IP scanner on PC1 it doesn't find PC2. Tried switching from "work" to "home" in network places, in differenct orders Reset TCP/IP settings and Winsock catalog (both) Note: Although you can create rules by selecting Program or Port, those choices. Strangely, it works intermittently, though almost always I have to disable avast in order for it to work. This was working fine with my new machine until I installed avast. The network! I thought maybe it was a firewall setting, so I disabled avast completely and turned off windows firewall on both computers. Previously I was using AVG on an XP machine and had to tweek some settings for it to allow itunes on my computer to connect properly with my apple TV. Whenever I run IP scanner on PC1, it doesn't even show PC2 even being on However, I cannot ping PC2 from PC1 nor connect to a share. I'm thinking it's an issue on PC2 for a few reasons.I can see all computer's from PC2. I too am unable to enable Home Sharing after updating to iTunes 11.1.5.5.
